Definition: The performance includes a short or long imitation or impersonation of another performer (who can be in the same film or not, and who can be a stage performer). This doesn’t involve a stylistic influence but rather a comical treatment.

Example: Mitzi Gaynor impersonating Merman in “When The Choo Choo Train” (2) in There’s No Business...; Eleanor Powell doing Bill Robinson in Honolulu
