Definition: Number whose significance lies in the reference to a star persona while reaffirming it in a typical fashion (Astaire’s persona in “I Want To Be A Dancing Man” (Belle of New York). Or a number relying on the knowledge of the star’s typical numbers, while proposing a playful version of them.
